Ever heard of British rock band Dr. Feelgood? If you have, you’d probably know the guitarist Wilko Johnson from the band who played the role of the executioner Ilyn Payne in several episodes.
Gary Lightbody from Snow Patrol (Walk of Punishment)
Gary appeared in the episode, “The walk of Punishment” where he showcased his musical talents acting as one of the Bolton soldiers who sang “The Bear And The Maiden Fair.” He is a frontman for snow patrol.

Will Champion is the drummer for the band Coldplay and he made a cameo appearance in what is perhaps the most emotional and gruelling scene on television yet. He can be seen playing a drum at the infamous Red Wedding where most of the States and their loyalists were murdered.

Movie director, Neil Marshall also made a cameo appearance on the show even after directing two episodes namely The Watchers on the Wall and Blackwater. He made his quick cameo appearance in the former as one of the archers of the Night’s.

Mackenzie Crook is a well known British comedian who it was said was initially casted for a small cameo appearance but who immensely left an impression on producer Dave Benioff who went on to cast him as Orell the wildling warg.

Essie Davis is better known for her role in the horror movie The Babadook but she also made a guest appearance as an actress playing Cersei Lannister in a play. The character met an unfortunate end with the Waif, who was bent on murdering Arya.
